30岁的泰一退出NCT的消息引发震撼。SM娱乐公司表示：「我们最近确认了泰一因涉及性犯罪而被提起刑事诉讼的事实。在了解了事实真相后，认为此事件非常严重，因此决定与泰一商讨后让他退出团体。」
