为纪念SM创立30週年的「SMTOWN LIVE 2025」（第一天）于1月11日在首尔高尺天空巨蛋盛大举行，并首次公开了一批男性练习生。

参与亮相的男性练习生多达11人。他们身穿学生服造型，登上舞台，演出了前辈团体EXO的《Growl》以及SHINee的《Lucifer》等经典歌曲。

其中一位练习生被指是曾属于「Trainee A」的「JJ」。这位练习生原本是隶属于HYBE旗下Big Hit的练习生团体「Trainee A」，并以出道为目标。然而，由于该项目最终告吹，「Trainee A」也随之解散。不过，JJ似乎在解散后转投到了SM旗下。
